Privacy Policy

Seatible keeps event and guest information on your device.

Effective: October 10, 2026 · Last updated: October 10, 2026

Seatible is an event-planning app by Lav Chaudhary / QOL Apps. This policy explains how the Seatible app handles information when you use it on iPhone or iPad.

At a glance

  • Seatible does not require an account.
  • Event and guest information you enter is stored and processed on your device. Seatible does not send that content to a QOL Apps server.
  • Contacts import adds only the names you select in Apple’s contact picker. Seatible does not read or copy your address book.
  • Apple processes App Store downloads and in-app purchases under Apple’s own privacy terms.
  • Exports and the optional Guest Finder are under your control. If you share or publish them, the receiving app, service, or website handles its copy.
  • Seatible has no advertising or third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Information you keep in Seatible

You may choose to enter or import information such as:

  • Event names, dates, venue notes, room dimensions, layouts, tables, ceremony rows, seating assignments, and planning rules.
  • Guest names, household relationships, plus-ones, RSVP status, meal choices, allergens, dietary notes, accessibility needs, age group, tags, and notes.
  • A venue image or PDF you select, along with its calibration and display settings.
  • A public URL you enter for a Guest Finder page.
  • App preferences and whether you have completed the first-launch introduction.

Some guest fields can describe sensitive matters, including dietary, allergy, or accessibility needs. Add only information you need for planning, and review it before exporting or sharing anything.

How Seatible stores and uses this information

Seatible saves events and selected venue assets in the app’s private storage on your device. It uses that information to provide planning, seating, search, reporting, and export features. Core planning features work offline. QOL Apps does not operate an account system or a server that receives or stores your event and guest records.

If you import contacts, Apple’s system contact picker lets you choose people. Seatible receives and saves the selected display names as guest names. It does not request access to your full contacts database or import phone numbers, email addresses, or other contact fields.

If you select a venue image or PDF, Seatible uses the selected file as a local venue asset. Seatible does not upload it to QOL Apps.

App Store purchases

Seatible offers an optional one-time in-app purchase. Apple processes purchases and restores through the App Store. Seatible receives the transaction result needed to check the unlock on your device. QOL Apps does not receive your payment card details or Apple Account password through Seatible. Apple’s handling of App Store information is described in Apple’s App Store privacy information and Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Exports and sharing

Seatible can create files such as CSV guest lists, event backups, floor-plan images, PDFs, print materials, and guest summaries. Their contents depend on the export you choose and the information in your event. The system share sheet lets you choose where to save or send a file. QOL Apps does not receive a copy through Seatible. The destination app or service then handles the information according to its own terms and privacy practices.

Review a file and its destination before sharing it. A file saved to Files, another app, a cloud drive, a printer service, or another person’s device may remain there after you edit or delete the event in Seatible.

Optional Guest Finder

Guest Finder creates a static HTML page and a matching QR image on your device. The page includes the event name, attending guests’ names, and their seating locations. It excludes RSVP status, meal choices, dietary or accessibility details, tags, and private notes.

Seatible does not upload or host this page. You choose a URL and publish the HTML file using a hosting service you control. The page is intended to be publicly accessible at that URL. Anyone who can reach the page can view its included names and seating information. The page’s noindex setting asks search engines not to index it; it is not access control and does not make the page private. Your hosting provider and any visitor’s browser may process information as part of delivering the page. Their privacy practices apply to those services.

To stop access, remove or replace the page through the hosting service. Removing the Guest Finder URL or event from Seatible does not remove a copy already published online. Hosting providers, browsers, or visitors may retain cached or saved copies.

Apple services, device backups, and diagnostics

Apple provides iOS/iPadOS, App Store, StoreKit, the contact and file pickers, and the system sharing interface. Apple processes information needed to provide those services under Apple’s own policies. For example, an Apple device backup may include app data depending on your settings. QOL Apps cannot access or delete your Apple backups. See Apple’s explanation of iCloud backups.

Seatible does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. If you choose to share device analytics with Apple, Apple may process app diagnostics or usage information and may make reports available to developers under its policies and reporting rules. This information is separate from the event and guest records stored by Seatible. You can review your device’s analytics choices in Settings and Apple’s privacy information.

Information you send to support

If you contact QOL Apps, we receive the email address, message, and any attachments or details you choose to provide. We use them to answer your question, provide support, and investigate the issue you report. We retain support correspondence in our support systems for as long as reasonably needed to handle the request and keep appropriate business records. Do not include sensitive guest information in a support message unless it is needed to explain the issue.

For support or privacy questions, use the QOL Apps contact page.

Data sharing, sale, and advertising

QOL Apps does not sell, rent, or disclose event or guest information from Seatible because Seatible does not send that information to us. We do not use Seatible for targeted advertising or cross-app tracking. Information is shared outside Seatible only when you direct a system share or export, publish a Guest Finder page, contact support, or use an Apple service described above.

This policy covers the Seatible app. Use of the QOL Apps website is covered by the QOL Apps website privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

Your event and guest records remain in Seatible’s app storage until you delete them in the app or remove Seatible from your device. Deleting an event removes it from Seatible’s active event store. QOL Apps has no server copy from which to restore it. Exported files, files shared to other services, device backups, and published Guest Finder pages are separate copies; manage or delete those through the destination, Apple, or hosting service that holds them.

If Seatible cannot read a damaged local event file, it may preserve a recovery copy on your device and show a recovery notice. That copy is not sent to QOL Apps. Removing Seatible from the device also removes its local app files, subject to any separate device backups.

QOL Apps cannot retrieve, correct, or delete event data stored only on your device because we do not have access to it. You can manage that information in Seatible. Contact us about support correspondence or other information that you sent directly to QOL Apps.

Security

Seatible keeps event content in the app’s private device storage and avoids transmitting it to a QOL Apps server. Protect your device with its passcode and keep its operating system up to date. No app, device, file transfer, backup, or online service can be guaranteed completely secure. If you export or publish information, its protection also depends on the destination and your settings there.

Children’s information

Seatible is an event-planning tool for adults and is not designed for children to use independently. An event organizer may enter a child’s name or age group in a local guest list. QOL Apps does not receive that guest-list information through Seatible. Organizers should include only information they are authorized to manage and share.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Seatible or its data practices change, or when legal or platform requirements change. We will revise the “Last updated” date when we publish a change. If a change materially affects how the app handles information, we will take reasonable steps to make the update clear.
