UPSC Guru ("the App") is a free study companion app for UPSC Civil Services Examination preparation. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

The App itself does not collect any personally identifiable information (name, email, phone number, etc.).
All study data (bookmarks, quiz scores, topic progress) is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to any server.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use the following to serve relevant ads:
- Advertising ID (Android Advertising ID)
- Device information (model, OS version)
- Approximate location (based on IP address)
- App usage data

You can opt out of personalised advertising by adjusting your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation.
3. Data Storage
The App stores the following data locally on your device:
- Topics marked as completed
- Quiz scores and history
- Bookmarked questions and topics
This data never leaves your device and is not accessible by us.

The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

- Google Play Services — App integrity verification
5. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
